R-Ignite

About This Project

R-Ignite is a non-profit organisation based in South Africa. Its primary focus is the redesign and development of the Viedgesville Senior Primary School in Mtata, Eastern Cape. This project is not just about improving a school; it’s about transforming a community.

Schools in rural South Africa face numerous challenges, from undersized classrooms to dilapidated infrastructure and a need for adequate learning and play spaces. By addressing these issues, R-Ignite is making a significant difference in the lives of these children and their families.

The project takes a phased approach in introducing improvements to the school, such as repairing physical structures, introducing a library and computer space for students, adding a multifunctional hall to serve the school and the community and more.

R-Ignite required a new website to house information about their organisation, founders and ongoing projects.
