If I wasn’t a copywriter and web designer, I’d be a techno DJ, horror novelist or pursue a career in politics
I’m totally obsessed about my dog, Cass, a Jack Russell terrier, and Christmas (I loooooove Christmas)
My big dream is to start a digital marketing agency for non-profit organisations in South Africa
My favourite TV shows are Buffy, Black Mirror, Skins (the UK version), The Mighty Boosh and Six Feet Under
I live in Cape Town, South Africa (and absolutely love it, the summers are the best), but I run away and work remotely each winter to escape the cold
Places I’ve worked remotely for a couple of months are Lisbon, Brazil, Thailand, Argentina, LA, New York and San Fran
I’m a bit fan of horror movies, travel, salsa dancing, Macallan scotch, samba music and baking cinnamon rolls
A strategic approach to spirit-led business
One day, I was listening to a podcast and the interviewee, Marie Forleo, said something along the lines of, “How can you make a difference and make a living?” I was so moved by what I’d heard, that I wrote this one-liner at the back of my petrol (gas) logbook, and kept it stored in my cubby hole (glove compartment). South Africa has some strange words.
These words took some time to ruminate until I realised that the way I could make a difference through my work, my career, is to help businesses that I believed in.
I’ve been walking the spiritual and mystical path since the age of eleven, and when these sparks of inspiration began to take shape as ideas, I already knew who I’d want to serve.
My goal with Viva Luna Studios is to bring my years of expertise in strategic branding and content marketing to brands, business and individuals doing the beautiful, soulful work of bringing others and the collective to a higher level of consciousness.
