Copywriting and WordPress website design for a Cape Town-based NGO that uplifts women and children impacted by HIV/AIDS
About This Project
Yabonga Children’s Project is a non-profit organisation based in Cape Town. Operating for over two decades, Yabonga has been responsible for positively impacting and uplifting countless lives of women, children and communities affected by HIV/AIDS. One of their projects, the ‘Community Mother’s Program’ assigns a female figurehead in the community and then trains and funds her to support, feed and give love to children whose parents are otherwise unavailable.
The Yabonga marketing team had tried to build a website using a pre-made WordPress template, but they struggled to make even simple changes to the theme to achieve the look and feel they wanted. The new site not only reflects their branding and communities their mission, but also includes a powerful donation system to improve their fundraising.
